Our Story
Hazel’s Haven was created to honor Hazel — a grandmother known for her endless kindness. She welcomed displaced children and adults into her home, offering warmth, meals, and safety. Today, Hazel’s spirit lives on through our housing program in Monroe and West Monroe, Louisiana.
M
Matthew 20:28
"Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many"
We at Hazel's Haven, we come to where the people are to serve them. Like Jesus said, we come to serve not to be served. We go where the need is needed.
